RENEGADES WIN BY A SAFETY

I have to say it was a pretty long night at the Coliseum last night because Twin City didn't arrive at the Coliseum until 7:30pm and the game didn't start till just after 8pm because there bus broke down on at the way. Once the game started both teams put on an offensive explosion with the Renegades coming away with a 9-7 win, the defense for both teams was horrid last night. The Renegades will be at home again tonight when the Huntsville Havoc visit the RC. In high school basketball action last night CH lost to Meadowbrook 92-49. In college basketball action today Virginia will travel down to North Carolina to face the Tar Heels, it could be another long afternoon for the Cavs. The VCU Rams will be back at home tonight against William & Mary, I am sure fellow blogger Lee will be in attendance. Well the Sprint Cup Series will be in action tonight at Daytona with the running of the Bud Shootout, this race use to be the Busch Clash and was made up of pole winners from last years races but Nascar changed the rules this year to allow certain drivers to be in the field, in other words they just make up the rules as they go along. The will qualify for the front two spots in the Daytona 500 Sunday morning, there are 57 cars entered in this years race and 74 year old James Harvey Hylton is one of them, I hope he makes the race. The donuts at Wal-Mart were good again this morning. MICKEY

When it comes to life the critical thing is whether you take things for granted or take them with gratitude.

DID YOU KNOW
Bittersweet chocolate is what is usually called for in baking. It contains more chocolate liquor (at least 35%) and less sugar than sweet chocolate. Semisweet chocolate contains 15% 35% chocolate liquor.

Match Your Abilities and Interests:
You have to enjoy your training program or you probably won’t stick with it long enough to see results. Rather than picking a generic program or doing what your friends do, adjust your workout time and intensity so it fits your lifestyle, and your current fitness level and allows you push yourself as needed. Most importantly, find a workout routine that meets your personal goals. If you don’t know where to begin, working with a personal trainer is highly recommended, but it’s also a great way to fine tune your fitness plan if you are more advanced.

To effectively burn fat, you need to incorporate both aerobic exercise and strength training into your workouts. Strength training increases your muscle mass, which in turn increases your metabolism (meaning you will burn more calories in an average day). Aerobic exercise does not have the ability to permanently raise your metabolism the way weight training does, however, it is most effective in burning calories and fat.

I hope the Rams play better than they have the last 3 games. We need to play a little defense for once.
