GADES WIN AGAIN, VIRGINIA FALLS AGAIN

The Richmond Renegades knocked off the Huntsville Havoc last night 5-2 to pick up there 2nd win in as many nights. The Gades played a much better game defensively than they did Friday night when the gave up 7 goals but still won the game. The Gades will be back at home next Friday & Saturday nights before they hit the road for an extended road trip because of the circus, monster truck show & CAA basketball tournament. Speaking of the CAA the VCU Rams picked up 76-54 win over William & Mary on Homecoming last night, since they don't have a football team have to have Homecoming during basketball season. The Virginia Cavaliers didn't fair as well yesterday as they fell to the North Carolina Tar Heels 76-61. Kevin Harvick won last nights demolition derby at Daytona, it appears thats what these races have become lately, the majority of the field didn't finish the last nights race. The will qualify for the front row of the Daytona 500 later this morning. I have to say yesterday was very nice day and it appears today is even going to be better. MICKEY

Prepare the way
It is best to build your strength long before you must call upon it. It is best to deal with the small problems before they grow into big obstacles.
Do yourself a favor and prepare the way now for what you know will be here soon. Instead of anxiously rushing to catch up, calmly work your way ahead.

There's no way to know exactly what life will bring. Yet your past experience has given you a very good idea of what is most likely to come in the future.

Do what you know will need to be done, well before it must be done. Give yourself the delightful gift of a future free of last-minute stress.

You'll be much more effective when you can work on your own terms and at your own best pace. Work your way ahead, and give yourself many more options.

Prepare for what you know is coming, and you'll be much better positioned to deal with what you don't know is coming. Stop rushing to catch up and start moving solidly ahead.
-- Ralph Marston

Dry your wet shoes properly.
If your shoes get wet, don't put them on direct heat, like on a radiator. Heat dries out the leather and other materials in the shoes. To dry your running shoes properly, loosen the laces, take out the insoles, and let them air dry, away from direct heat. To help them dry faster, you can put crumpled-up newspaper inside of them.

About next Friday & Saturday's hockey games. Friday there is a fashion show between periods and Saturday there will be a wedding before the game. What happen to the hard hitting hockey games with fights?

I guess it will be a fashion show and wedding next week.

That's not to say what went on at the game this past Friday night.
