A STORMY MOTHERS DAY, ITS GOING TO BE COOL TODAY IN ch

Well across the country it was very stormy Mothers Day, tornadoes did major damage and there was lots of rain everywhere. Here in CH we received more than 1.50 in a very short period of time and today the high temp is only suppose to be in the upper 50's and we might get a little more rain as well. Down in Georgia very close to where Scott lives Macon Georgia got hit by a tornado which caused some major damage, city officials say it was the worst tornado to hit the city in 50 years. Also from what Scott says it was pretty close to where his parents live. Down at the beach they also had a tornado watch, I don't think they got hit to bad though. They have a wind advisory in effect along with a high surf advisory on the OBX today. A quick update on the NHL playoffs, both Pittsburgh and Detroit have 2-0 series leads in there best of 7 with the winners advancing to the Stanley Cup Finals. The UVA baseball team did win the final game of there series with UNC 5-4, the game was called after 7 innings because of rain. I just looked at the extended forecast and it looks like there is more rain on the way for Thursday and Friday. MICKEY
