HAMLIN DOMINATES RACE BUT DOESN'T WIN IT, RANGERS MUST WIN TODAY

Denny Hamlin lead 381 of the 1st 382 laps before a flat tire cost him the race and handed the lead to Dale Earnhardt Jr and it appeared Jr. might break his winless streak at the place where he last won a Sprint Cup race. However with three laps to go in the race Earnhardt Jr is spun out by Kyle Busch and Clint Bowyer inherits the lead with just two laps to go. It takes track crews a while to clean up the mess because it appears that fans are pretty upset with the events that have transpired and are throwing beer cans towards the 18 car every time he comes by them. The race restarts with a green, white and checkered with Clint Bowyer picking up his 2nd win of his career. I have to say the 1st 300 laps of this race were pretty boring, maybe AL has some action shots he can post from last nights race. Next week the will race at the famed Darlington Raceway. The New York Rangers face another must win situation this afternoon in Pittsburgh, down 3-1 in the series the Rangers must win or they will be on the golf course on Monday. The winner of this series will face the Philadelphia Flyers in the Eastern Conference finals with winner advancing to play for the Stanley Cup. Andrew's little league team picked up another win yesterday and Andrew turned an unassisted double play in the last inning of the game to help preserve the victory, Andrew's team will be in action today at 4pm and Monday at 7:30pm with both games being played at Ironbridge Park. It appears that we have gotten all the rain that were our getting this weekend which wasn't much last night, we got a quick shower and that was about it, it is suppose to be sunny today with a high around 80. Everyone tries to define this thing called Character. It's not hard. Character is doing what's right when nobody's looking.

Keeping Your Immune Health In Top Shape: By Lori Matthews
Today stress is at the forefront of why some people find themselves not feeling well, or have a lack of energy and even moodiness. Stress can wreak havoc on your system and therefore leaving it weak to fight off free radicals. Pollution, lifestyle, processed foods, stress and more can be contributing factors to why your immune system isn’t running at top performance.

There are several things you can do to that may help keep your immune system healthy and strong.
•Eat healthy – It’s important what you put into your body. Make healthy choices and eat well balanced meals.
•Get enough rest – Your body needs 6-8 hours of sleep every night to release stress and re-build your immune system.
•Exercise – a consistent exercise program will not only strengthen your immune system, but will give you more energy and will release stress.
•Get enough vitamin C – 1000-2000 mg daily may decrease your risk of developing a cold.
•Drink plenty of water – staying hydrated will keep you healthy. Drinking at least 6-8 full glasses of water every day will keep your hydrated.
•Take a mineral supplement – many people don’t get enough zinc in their diet. This affects the immune system. Some foods high in zinc include pumpkin seeds, lean beef and oysters.
•Limit your alcohol and caffeine intake – this can interfere with the immune system.

Taking these steps to care for your body is critical to keeping you healthy, giving you energy, slowing the aging process and living longer. Who doesn’t want a healthier, happier, longer life?
