HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUNIE & DUSTY, VIRGINIA BASEBALL TEAM NOW 10-0

Well there are a couple of birthdays down in Georgia today, it is Scott's dad Junie Woodfin's birthday and it is also Dusty's birthday, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the both of them. The Virginia baseball team beat Cornell yesterday 12-3 and with the win the Cavaliers improve 10-0 on the season, next up for the Cavs is a trip over to Lexington, Va to play VMI on Tuesday. The Virginia basketball team will be in Atlanta tonight to try to play Georgia Tech again, I hope it's not raining in Atlanta tonight. Carl Edwards won his 2nd race in a row yesterday holding off Dale Earnhardt Jr for the win at Las Vegas, with the win Carl Edwards now leads the Sprint Cup points standing by 21 points over Kyle Busch. There were some very hard crashes yesterdays race which left Tony Stewart, Kurt Busch and Jeff Gordon a little shook up and I am sure they will be very sore today. It looks like it is going to be 70 next two days here in Colonial Heights before it cools back down into the mid 50's by the weekend, I wish Spring would hurry up and get here. MICKEY

Great things are not done by impulse, but by a series of small things brought together.

HEALTH TIP: cope with the return to Daylight Saving Time
* Begin to readjust your sleep schedule a few days prior to the time change by going to bed an hour earlier.
* Modify your eating schedule by having dinner one hour earlier.
* Be careful when driving or operating machinery on the day of the time change.
* Avoid napping, particularly before bedtime.
* Keep a light schedule -- such as minimizing driving and avoiding strenuous physical activity -- on the Monday after the time change.
* Eat properly, stay hydrated and remain physically active.

The future is bright
The future is bright. Because the future is created by positive people.

Those who are negative make a lot of noise about how bad things are. Those who are positive quietly and steadily make a lot of real improvements and contributions to life.

There are always problems and there are always challenges. And there are always people willing to transform those challenges into great opportunities.

Those who have the courage, commitment and discipline to follow their own best dreams, bring the rest of the world along with them. Those who choose to do the best they can with what they have, create a better life for everyone.

For every high-profile guru of doom who wails about how hopeless and unfair life is, there are millions of others working tirelessly to make life better than ever. For every frightening crisis that is breathlessly reported, there are millions of real, meaningful success stories that don't get noticed, but that do have enormous positive influence.

Negative people obsess over the past while positive people work their way eagerly toward the future. Life gets better and better when you choose to make it so, and the future is bright indeed.
