COLONIALS WIN AN UGLY ONE, RENEGADES BACK AT HOME

Well things didn't get off a to good start yesterday when Sussex scored 4 runs in the top of the 1st inning but fortunately thats all they scored before the Colonials scored 13 unanswered runs to pull out a ugly 13-4 win. The Colonials were lead offensively by Kenny Stoneback who went 2-3 and had a 3run HR and by Daniel Falls who went 2-4. Phillip Griffith picked up the win on the mound allowing just 6 hits, next up for the Colonials is Manchester on Monday at 5pm at Shepherd Stadium. The Thomas Dale Knights also picked up a win yesterday beating Varina 7-6 in extra innings. The Virginia Cavaliers were knocked of the ACC basketball tournament last night by Georgia Tech 94-76, it has been a long hard season for the Cavaliers. The Richmond Renegades return to home ice tonight when the Knoxville Ice Bears come to town. The Nascar Sprint Cup Series is at the always exciting Bristol Motor Speedway this weekend, the could be some tempers flaring this weekend. My PAIN index is still a bit high because I have a sore wisdom tooth and a sore arm. MICKEY

You know, Willie Wonka said it best: we are the makers of dreams, the dreamers of dreams.

LEADERSHIP TIP, from Joe Farcht
Use Time Wisely: The second most important skill to master is the effective and productive use of time. Time is a gift, given to all of us in equal measure. You are responsible for carefully managing it. Unfortunately, most of us grow up learning bad time management skills. We acquire time wasting habits and inefficient ways of working and living. If you want to create outrageous success, learn and implement effective and productive use of your time.

Be clear about why
When your reason for doing so is meaningful enough, you can bear any burden and prevail through any challenge. When you know why, you'll have what it takes to work through how.

If you have a sense that something is too complicated, that merely means that you don't have a compelling enough reason to figure it out. Know why you seek to understand, and that understanding will surely come.

Before beginning any endeavor, take the time to be completely clear with yourself about the reason why. Solidly connecting with the why will activate skills, capabilities and effectiveness that you may not have even known you had.

Whether you seek to motivate yourself or others, a fundamental, essential part of that motivation is knowing why. Without a reason, all the abilities, opportunities, efforts and resources in the world will yield nothing of any value.

Purpose is what makes possibilities come to life. Keep reminding yourself why, in rich and colorful detail, and you will find a way to do whatever you intend to do.

Before you even think about how to proceed, make sure you clearly know why. After that, you'll begin moving forward faster and more reliably than you ever could have thought possible.

13-4 can't be that ugly. By the way, I like the unigrams.
