HEADING TO ECU TO SEE THE CAVS PLAY

Well I will be heading down to ECU to see UVA play for the first time in person in many years. It has also been a long time since UVA visited ECU. I hope the weather will be a little bit better down there for the game which kicks off at 6pm, but the forecast is calling for 70% chance of rain which isn't good. I don't know how much rain we have gotten here in CH but if I had to guess I would say we have gotten more than 3 inches since last night, the back yard is flooded as bad as I have seen it many years and it's still coming down pretty good, maybe fellow blogger Les can tell us how much water he has in his rain gauge. There are areas to our east and to our south that have received more than 8 inches of rain. All of the Central Virginia football games were washed out last night and most have been rescheduled for Monday night. Down in Georgia last night the Heard County Braves knocked of the Crawford County Eagles 34-12. At the beach Manteo beat Northside 48-0 and Columbia beat Cape Hatteras 44-6, First Flight was washed out and will play Monday night. The Oakland A's are the first team to move to the second round of MLB playoffs sweeping the Twins 3 games to none, the Tigers now lead there series with the Yankees 2-1. The NL series will resume today. They will qualify later this morning for Sundays Nextel Cup race at Talladega. THE SOURCE OF INFORMATION must have been right about Al. MICKEY

I hope you don't get wet. What colors are you wearing?

Glad I didn't plant gras in the back yard.
