A COUPLE OF COLD NIGHTS AHEAD

Well I hope everybody is ready for a couple of cold nights, tonight it is suppose to get down to 35 and Saturday night to 34. It will be a bit cool around here for tonight's high school football action. I am probably going over to Petersburg tonight to see the Colonials play the Crimson Wave, also in our area tonight Thomas Dale will be at Matoaca. Down in Georgia the Macon County Bulldogs (3-3) visit Crawford County to play the Eagles in a game in which I think the Eagle may win. Down at the beach Edenton Holmes is at First Flight, Manteo will be at Plymouth, and Mattamuskeet will be at Cape Hatteras. In college football action last night Boston College beat Virginia Tech 22-3 and Clemson pounded Temple 63-9. In the NL Champ Series the Mets took a 1-0 lead in the series with a 2-0 victory over the Cardinals. At the Lowes Motor Speedway Scott Riggs won the pole for this weeks stop on the Nextel Cup schedule beating his teammate Kasey Kahne for the top spot. I did talk to Keith last night and he said that they were getting some snow showers in Detroit last night, I hope he leaves the snow up there. MICKEY
