A COMEBACK FOR THE AGES

On a night where it just appeared not to be for the Appomattox Insurance softball team and everything that could go wrong appeared to be going wrong the AI softball team came to life. Entering the bottom of the 6th inning down 11-2 and hearing allot of trash talking from the other team and only having 5 hits on the night the AI team put up 13 runs in the bottom of the 6th inning and held on for a 15-14 victory over Oakley Tank Lines. This is the same team that thought the had us beat earlier in the year and were undefeated before we scored 10 runs on in one inning enroute to a double header sweep earlier in the year. Our season will end tonight win or lose the league will come to an end tonight, we play at 6:30pm again against the winner of the losers bracket final and they would have to beat us twice. The winner of our division will then play the winner from the other division for the fall city championship, the other division is much stronger division and have allot of players who play on different B and C teams, it could be tough for us but I think we could do pretty against them if we get the chance. Rain washed out game 4 of the World Series last night so they will play game 4 tonight and game 5 on Friday night, I can't believe it took them that long to call the game last night. There is a big game in the ACC tonight with Clemson visiting Virginia Tech, I don't know why but I think Virginia Tech is going to win tonight. It appears dad has really gotten in the Halloween spirit this year and it looks like he will have plenty of friends over for Halloween this year. Last night the blog was down for a scheduled maintenance by the web server. MICKEY

you can get a good action shot too now that you have your new camera - maybe she can jump over the pumkins running from the Grim Reaper?

Coming back to win is what make a great team. I hope the Colonials will learn that if they get behind.
