ROOKIE DEVIL RAYS HAVE A TOUGH NIGHT

The rookie Devil Rays had a tough night in there final tune up for the Braves falling to the league power Yankees 14-6 last night, your favorite Devil Ray did have 2 hits in the game and several people who were at the game said the game was much closer than the final score indicated. Don't forget the big matchup thursday night at 7:30pm Braves vs Devil Rays and Al will be there taking photos of the contest. I went out and saw Matoaca play in the baseball regionals last night and they defeated James River 14-0 and in the other game involving the CD Douglas Freeman beat Prince George 5-2, Matoaca will play at 7pm thursday against Hanover at Prince George High School. The Carolina Hurricanes lost in OT last night 2-1 to Buffalo and with the win the Sabres have forced a game 7 in Raleigh on thursday, Go Canes pull it out. My sinuses are bothering me pretty bad this morning and hoping that the Advil I took will help soon, if not it is going to be a long day. MICKEY

The blog misquoted thje source at the game . The score was lots closer than the the game played.Other than our favorite Devil ray, tthere were few bright spots for the rays.If Bobby Cox was managing the rays , he would be hard-pressed to find any positives.
