COLONIALS FALL 8-6 TO DINWIDDIE

The CH Colonials lost yesterday afternoon to Dinwiddie 8-6, with the loss the Colonials fall back to a second place tied with Dinwiddie in the CD. The Colonials fell behind 6-0 early and were never able to catch up and we just didn't play well at all. The only bright spots for the Colonials were a pair of HR's one by Geordie Breidenback a 3run HR and one by JD McCarty a 2run HR. I have to say that I didn't sleep well last night because I know that we can play better than we did yesterday. The Colonials will return to action thursday afternoon at 4:30pm against Petersburg at Shepherd Stadium. The TD Knights defeated the Meadowbrook Monarchs 9-3 in CD action tuesday to complete a sweep on the Monarch on the season. In the other big game in the CD Matoaca deafeated Prince George 7-6 in 8 innings. The Carolina Hurricanes advanced to the 2nd round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs with 2-1 OT victory over Montreal, the Hurricanes will play the NJ Devils in the second round. MICKEY
