ANDREWS TEAM PICKS UP ANOTHER WIN

The rookie Devil Rays picked up another victory last night 10-9 over the winless A's and with two games left in the regular season it appears the Devil Rays could peaking at the right time as they get ready to make a playoff push. Andrew had 1 hit in last nights game and I understand that he was robbed from a another hit as member of the A's made a good play on a screaming line drive. The Devil Rays have one more game before the big matchup with Vincie's ( where have you been on the blog) Braves next thursday night at 7:30pm at Ironbridge on fiel #4. The Carolina Hurricanes fell to the Buffalo Sabres last night 4-3 and with the win the Sabres take 2-1 lead in the series, the Edmonton Oilers can win the Western Conference finals tonight with a victory over Anaheim. For the second time in less than two months there is a fair setup at Southpark Mall, this groups rides don't look as nice as the ones that were here. I have posted an old photo of the blogmaster from back when I had some hair. MICKEY

Peaking, not hardly. But, a win is win and the Devil Rays will take it.

We play Yankees next week (Tues) and finish with the Braves on Thursday and will open with the Braves in the playoffs the following week. Andrew struggled at the plate last night. He bounced out to 1st and had a infield single. As Mickey reported, his best hit of the night was snared by the A's pitcher, a blue dart that would have shot through the A's outfield for a likely triple or tater.
