DALE JR WINS BUD SHOOTOUT, VCU WINS

Well it didn't take Dale Earnhardt Jr to pick up his 1st win driving for Hendrick Motorsports even though it's not a points race. Dale Jr lead most of the way and held of Tony Stewart at the end to pick up the win, the sea of red fans is now a sea green fans. The will qualify this afternoon for top two spots in this years Daytona 500 and the starting lineups for Thursdays qualifying races. The VCU Rams beat Delaware yesterday afternoon 83-73, with the win the Rams now have two game lead in the CAA standings. Virginia's woes continued yesterday at Wake Forest where the Demon Deacons knocked off the Cavaliers 80-64, UVA simply doesn't play any defense which leads to many easy baskets.
