A DREARY MORNING HERE IN CH SO FAR

It has been a very dreary morning here in CH so far today, it has been raining on and off since I went to Wal-Mart at 6:15am. However it does look like the sun is trying to break through the clouds now though. The Virginia and NC State baseball game last night was suspended until today at 5pm with the score tied at 2 after a 1 hour and 25 minute rain delay last night, the Cavs do have a runner on 3rd with no out though, they will play game 2 of the series 30 minutes after the completion of game 1. There is a chance that I might go see todays UVA game, depending on how the weather looks. Andrews LL team will be back in action tonight at Ironbridge Park at 7:30pm when they play the Braves. Denny Hamlin won last nights Busch race at Darlington holding of Mark Martin for the win, Clint Bowyer won the pole for tonight Nextel Cup race. Down at the beach last night both Manteo and First Flight picked up victories in the 1st round North Carolina High School Association's baseball playoffs, First Flight beat Swansboro 12-3 in 2A action and Manteo beat North Duplin 10-0 in 1A action , both teams will be home again Tuesday night in the 2nd round of the playoffs as well. My AIP index has been elevated again because my back is sore and I jammed my finger last night putting the clothes in the dryer. Also this weekend here in CH they are having the annual Ft Clifton Arts and Crafts Festival, it always seems to rain when they are having this event. MICKEY
