COLONIALS BEAT PRINCE GEORGE 6-4

The Colonial Heights Colonials baseball picked a big 6-4 victory over Prince George Tuesday night at Shepherd Stadium. Phillip Griffith went the distance on the mound for the Colonials allowing just 6 hits and striking out 6. Offensively the Colonials were lead by Lance Rhodes who went 2-3 and had 4 RBI's and Erik Loftis who went 2-3. The Colonials trailed 3-0 after the 1st inning but rallied back to win the game. The Colonials will be on the road Thursday night and Hopewell. The Thomas Dale Knights lost another tough one to Dinwiddie 5-4, the Knight lead most of the game before the Generals made there comeback. The boys soccer team defeated Prince George last night 4-1 while the girls soccer team lost 4-2 and the softball team lost 9-0. I will post a link to the baseball photos AL took later today on my photo page. MICKEY
