HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

Well I hope all the Mothers who visit Mickey's Place have a HAPPY MOTHERS DAY. After yesterday's dreary morning it turned out to be a pretty nice day until it rained pretty hard around dinner time. Speaking of dinner time I went out to eat with two fellow bloggers at UNO'S last night, Donna & AL. I was going to come home and watch the race after dinner but I had one problem, there was no race to watch last night because it was raining at Darlington. As much as Nascar hates to race on Mother's Day they will have to do so today because of last night washout, the race will be on FOX at 1pm. Since there was no race to watch I decided I would go out and watch Andrew's LL game which was scheduled to start at 7:30, I arrived at 7:27 but as usual the games were running a bit behind and Andrews game started around 8:15. I didn't stay for the whole game but when I left his team was winning 8-0 and I do understand they did win last night. The UVA baseball team won Fridays suspended game yesterday 4-2 and then lost the regularly scheduled game yesterday to NC State 10-7, they will finish out the series this afternoon. According to the paper this morning they had a record crowd at Ft. Clifton yesterday before the rains came, the attendance was bolstered by all Tussing Elementary students and family members who came to see there children perform skits on the main stage yesterday morning pertaining to the Jamestown celebration. So far this morning the weather is starting out just like yesterday, but it is suppose to clear off later morning. MICKEY
