COLONIALS VISIT HOPEWELL, DALE JR TO LEAVE DEI

The Colonial Heights Colonials baseball team will travel to Hopewell tonight for it's final road game of the regular season, game time is set for 6pm. The Colonials enter the game with a 9-3 record in the CD and 12-6 record overall. Also in CD baseball action today Petersburg coming of it's 1st CD win in many years will be at Thomas Dale, Dinwidde will be at Matoaca, and Meadowbrook will be at Prince George. I have posted a link below to the pictures Al took at the Prince George game on Tuesday. It appears Dale Earnhardt Jr is going to announce that he is going to leave DEI later this morning, he has scheduled a press conference for 11am when he will announce that he will drive for his own team JR Motorsports starting next year. Also Martin Truex Jr will be coming with him from DEI, they will have a working relationship with Hendrick Motorsports. I think allot of his fans will be happy with this move but I think there will be some that will be quite upset. In other CHHS sports action today the boys soccer and softball team will also visit Hopewell while the girls soccer team will be at home. It looks like it is going to be warm today so come on out to the ballgame. MICKEY

I would of liked to see Petersburg when they won. I just didn't want to be who they beat. HAHA

Teresa Earnhardt can do anything she wants now but who will care. I knew Jr. would leave.
