THE SUN IS BACK OUT

After a very rainy Friday here in Colonial Heights the sun is back out this morning. It looks like it shaping up to be a pretty nice day here in CH. With all the rain we have had the last few days they still haven't been able to play the Matoaca and Petersburg game yet and it appears they are going to have to play it Monday which may set the CD tournament schedule back a day, thats not official yet though. The VISSA tournament being held at Shepherd Stadium was also washed out yesterday and they are going to try to play 3 games today and 3 games Sunday, if the field is not playable today they mat have to use Monday as well. Down at the beach Manteo moved on in NC 1A playoffs beating Northside 3-0, there next game should be on Tuesday against an unknown opponent at this time because some games were washed out last night down there as well. The UVA baseball game yesterday was also washed out and they are going to try to play a DH at Boston College today. The Virginia State University baseball team was eliminated by Columbus State yesterday 14-0 in the NCAA DIV II playoffs, the Trojans had a pretty good year. Andrew's LL team will be back in action tonight at 7:30pm as well, they are playing the Orioles tonight. The Nextel Cup Series will have there ALL-STAR race tonight at the Lowe's Motor Speedway, it pays about $1 million dollars to win so just about anything goes. I did go down to the Wal-Mart again this morning and as usual they didn't have any fresh donuts, as I have said before they might as well take the bakery out of the Colonial Heights store. My AIP index may be higher on Sunday because I going to go out and cut the grass in a little bit and it is always an adventure trying to start that lawnmower, I just hope I don't pull a muscle in my neck or back.
