IT'S NOT LOOKING GOOD FOR OPENING DAY

I have to say the weather is not looking to good for opening day of Andrew's LL baseball season. It has already rained a little bit here in CH and looking at the radar I have to say it doesn't look to good. I was hoping to go see Andrew play this morning and then go over to see VSU this afternoon but it looks like I might have to make other plans, hopefully not though. The UVA baseball team lost to Georgia Tech last night 2-1 in 11 innings, game 2 of the series is set for a 1pm start today. Speaking of bad weather it looks like the beach is going to get some very strong winds from this storm as it develops of the coast and there is going to be some beach erosion as well, the NWS has issued a high wind warning and a coastal flood watch for the OBX. Qualifying for this weeks stop on the Nextel Cup stop at the Texas Motor Speedway was washed out yesterday which was bad news again for Michael Waltrip since they will line up on points, Jeff Gordon and Jeff Burton will be on the front row. The New York Rangers will play game 2 of there best of 7 series with Atalanta today in Atlanta, the Rangers lead the series 1-0. In the SPHL playoffs Fayetteville beat Jacksonville 3-1 last night to take 1-0 series lead in the best of 5 series, game 2 will be Sunday in Fayetteville. I did go down to Wal-Mart this morning to do a little shopping and I ran into Herbie Andrews who said it won't be long before Al's garage would be finished. They didn't have any fresh donuts again this morning so I had to buy some Hostess donuts again and when I went to checkout I had a case of Pepsi which cost $5.98 and the cashier tells me that later today that the Pepsi 12 packs will be on sale for $1.98 which would have saved me $2. Well I have to go run on the treadmill just in case Andrew's game doesn't get washed out. MICKEY
