WAKE FOREST & COLONIALS FALL

The Wake Forest Demon Deacons were tied up with Louisville at 10 in the 3rd but were unable to hold off the Cardinals in the end falling to the Cardinals 24-13 in the Orange Bowl. Wake Forest had a great season for a team that was picked to finish near the bottom of the ACC. The CH girls basketball team fell to Prince George last night 47-41 at CH, the CH boys will play at Prince George tonight. The UVA basketball team will also be at home tonight against the Gonzaga Bulldogs, I think Keith will be at the game putting his undefeated record at JPJ Arena on the line. I have posted an old photo from the past, I don't know when the photo was taken but see if you can figure out who it is, you shouldn't have any trouble. MICKEY

Do whatever it takes, whenever it needs to be done, regardless of whether you feel like doing it or not.

Goodness! How did THIS photo get into the hands of the Blog Master??I think it was taken at RBC sometime in early 1974, which means I was just shy of 20. Wish I could still wear that dress!

If that was taken in 74 I was only 3 years old and Melody was still 6 more years from being born. Still nice photo. Havent changed a bit in 30+ years. Melody is hoping for the same and wants your secret. I said its marrying good looking, intelligent and Go kart champion driving husbands and she disagreed. Oh well

How kind you all are! (I could easily be Melody's mother!!!!) If I appear youthful, then I give credit to my genes, a daily dose of second graders and, of course, my much younger, positive thinking husband!
