RENEGADES & CAVALIERS RETURN TO ACTION TONIGHT

The Richmond Renegades will try to make it 6th straight victories tonight at the RC when they play host to the Knoxville Ice Bears. This will be the 1st game in a very busy week for the Gades, the Gades also have home games Friday night against Jacksonville and Saturday night against Huntsville. The Gades have been playing very well as of late. The Virginia Cavaliers will also be in action tonight but unfortunately the Cavs will be on the road at NC State, the Cavs just can't seem to win away from the JPJ Arena but there is no reason that shouldn't beat NC State. The CH boys and girls basketball teams will return to action Friday night with both teams playing Petersburg. The coldest weather of the year so far will arrive in CH Friday with highs struggling to get to 30, but it won't last long because on Saturday it is suppose to be back in the mid 40's which is ok with me. My treadmill is still performing about the same, but it still isn't working correctly. MICKEY

Thoughts lead on to purposes; purposes go forth in action; actions form habits; habits decide character; and character fixes our destiny.

Don't be a night owl
Exercising just before bedtime may be asking for trouble. Aerobic exercise -- and exercise in general -- helps you fall asleep more quickly and sleep longer, but generally not if you if you work out just before turning in. Don't be tempted by your gym's late hours if you have to get up early the next morning; most of us need a few hours to relax and decompress after a workout before going to sleep, so you might pay a price the next day.
