BRRR IT'S COLD HERE IN CH THIS MORNING

It's a very cold 23 degrees in Colonial Heights this morning but it is suppose to get to around 50 today but it just might take a while. It is going to be in the lower 60's for the weekend though. I have found my treadmill book and now I am going to try to fix the problem, that could be an adventure in itself. I might have to call AL the maintenance man to see if he can fix it, we will just have to see. The Virginia Cavaliers fell to the UNC Tarheels last night 79-69, the Heels just wore down the Cavs in the 2nd en route to the victory. The CH boys team put up a pretty good fight for a while at Matoaca before falling 68-53, the Colonials only scored 3 points in the 3rd quarter which did them in last night. The CH girls team will be back in action at home tonight at 6pm against Meadowbrook, I have posted a link below some photos Al took at Tuesday's girls game. Also in wrestling last night CH defeated Prince George 67-12. MICKEY

Age is a case of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it don't matter.

Why drink water? from Miavita Food Facts
Your body is 60% water -- and not drinking enough can wreak havoc from head to toe. Up to half of all Americans suffer chronic mild dehydration that can cause fatigue, headache, loss of appetite, dry eyes and mouth. As we age, thirst becomes a less sensitive indicator of dehydration, so don't wait until you're thirsty to grab a glass. If you work out, drink more during intense physical activity, when dehydration is a real threat -- your body rapidly loses water through sweat and vapor in exhaled air. A rapid water loss of 5% of body weight can reduce muscular work by 20 - 30%.
