VIRGINIA LOSES, ECU WINS IN OT, PICK EM CONTEST TIGHTNING UP

Well I think somebody forgot to tell the Virginia football team that the game started at 3:30pm yesterday because they didn't show up until around 6pm. The UVA offense was just terrible for 3 quarters with penalties and turnovers. The Cavaliers are off next week before Clemson comes to town the following week and the Cavaliers have to win one of there last two games to become bowl eligible. The East Carolina Pirates tried to give the game away to Marshall before winning it 19-16 in OT, the Prates lead the whole game until Marshall ties it up with less than two minutes to play and won for the 2nd straight win in OT. The Pirates now have 1 game lead in the East Division of CUSA and will travel to Southern Miss next week. Things are really starting to tighten up in the Mickey's Place Football Contest with 7 people within 5 games of 1st place, I had another bad week allowing the rest of the field to catch up with me. If I don't straighten the ship up soon I will be looking up at the top. It looks like we will have 4 more weeks of the contest and the we will have a winner. I think Andrew will be running a separate contest for the bowl games through ESPN. Carl Edwards won yesterdays Nationwide race at Phoenix, he still trails Clint Bowyer by 56 points in the Nationwide Series. Jimmie Jouhnson will lead them to the green today in the Sprint Cup Series. I almost forgot to mention the Packers will be in Minnesota today to face the Vikings while the Redskins are off this week preparing for next weeks game with Cowboys. MICKEY

Amaze yourself
Once you're up and running, keep going. Once you've worked to establish some momentum, make the most of it.

Don't stop when you've done just enough. With a little extra effort, you can achieve so much more.

You've spent a lot of time and effort getting to where you are. If you stop now you'll have to put even more effort into getting started again.

Keep going until you've far surpassed what you expected to do. Surprise and delight yourself with how much more you can get accomplished.

When you've already done what's good enough, that puts you in a great position. It's more effective to reach higher when you're already moving higher.

Momentum is an unstoppable force. Once you've got it, keep using it, and keep going until you're amazed at what you've done.
