GADES NOW 0-5 ON THE ROAD, DALLAS AT WASHINGTON

The Richmond Renegades are now 0-5 on the road after falling to Knoxville 4-2, as I have said before if you only score two goals a game you are not going to win many in the league. The good news is that the Gades will be back at home on Wednesday & Friday nights. In the NFL today Chicago will be at Green Bay and if the Packers lose this game they can kiss there playoff chances goodbye and tonight Dallas will be at Washington in big NFC East match up. The Redskins can deal they Cowboys bid make the playoffs a serious blow with a win tonight. In college football in the ACC yesterday there were 3 more upsets with UNC, Florida State and Wake Forest all falling, it seems like nobody wants to win either division of the ACC. The Randolph-Macon Yellow Jackets captured the ODAC title yesterday with a 31-21 win over arch rival Hampden-Sydney, with the win the Yellow Jackets captured a spot in the D3 football playoffs. Clint Bowyer won the Nationwide Series championship yesterday at Homestead edging out Carl Edwards for the title, Carl Edwards did win the race. Today it looks like Jimmie Johnson will win his 3rd straight Sprint Cup Championship. In college basketball action today both of the teams that I follow Virginia & VCU will open up there regular season at home, VMI will visit Virginia while the Citadel visits VCU. In the Mickey's Place college football contest I opened up a little breathing room at the top of standings going 10-4 this week while my closest contenders Keith & Scott had a sub par week. Also dad is now out of the cellar, Lee is back in a familiar spot. It looks like this upcoming week there are allot of tough games to pick. MICKEY

Get on with life
Some people are not going to like you no matter what you do or what you say. Get over it and get on with life.

Some of your efforts are not going to bring the results you were after. Accept it and find another approach.

Occasionally you'll be distracted and knocked off course for a while. On a regular basis, life will have its disappointments.

Those disappointments and distractions do not have to stop you. In fact, you can choose to let them inspire you and to push you forward.

No matter what has just happened, you are free in this moment to act with positive purpose. Whether the past has worked in your favor or not, the future is yours to create as you wish.

Life is too important to waste it feeling sorry for yourself or beating yourself up. Get up and get on with life, and make it match your highest expectations.
