VIRGINIA GOES FOR 5TH STRAIGHT WIN, COLONIALS & GADES FALL

The Virginia Cavaliers will be in search of it's 5th straight win this afternoon when the Miami Hurricanes visit Charlottesville. The Cavaliers enter the game in 1st place in the Coastal Division of the ACC 1 game ahead of everybody else in the division. I will be watching this game from home this afternoon. Speaking of big games the Georgia Bulldogs have one today when the play the Florida Gators on a neutral field in Jacksonville, FL and also today Texas visits Texas Tech which should be a high scoring affair. In high school football action last night the Colonials fell to Petersburg 47-14, the Colonials will finish out there season at Matoaca next Friday night. I have posted all the other high school scores of interest below. The Richmond Renegades fell to the Knoxville Ice Bears 5-3 last night at the Richmond Coliseum, the Gades fell behind 3-0 after the 1st period and were never able to recover from there slow start. The Gades also lost the best player on team when he was injured in a late fight. The Gades will be at Twin City tonight before returning home Sunday afternoon to face Twin City again. Jeff Gordon captured the pole for this weeks race at Texas, Martin Truex Jr will join him on the front row.
