RENEGADES LOOK TO END LOSING STREAK

After losing three straight games last weekend the Richmond Renegades look to end there losing streak tonight when the Twin City Cyclones come to town. The Gades have only won three games all year an two of those have been against Twi City.  The Gades released three players yesterday in an effort to shake up the roster a bit, hopefully they brought some more offense in.  Also tonight in college basketball both VCU & Virginia will be in action at home tonight, South Dakota State will visit VCU while South Florida will visit Virginia.  We got our 1st snowfall of the year yesterday, it wasn't but a flurry but is was snow non the less and there is a slight chance we might get a little more later in the week.  It is going be cold again today before a brief heat-wave comes in on Thursday when the temp rise into the mid 50's before it drops back into the 40's for the weekend.  I am already tire of cold weather.   My PAIN index has gone up a bit this morning because my left knee and my lower back are a bit sore this morning.  I do have everybody's for this weeks contest already, I think that is the earliest that I have had everybody picks already and there dome people who seem to desperate with some of the picks they made.  In tomorrows blog entry I have obtained a photo of someone I thought would never change who they root for in college sports, but the photo doesn't lie, stay to see who jumped ship.  MICKEY

Vitamin C to Prevent Colds
Cold and flu season in the U.S. stretches from November to March. As much as 20% of the U.S. population contracts influenza (200,000 are hospitalized and 36,000 die) and most people get two or three colds.

To prevent a cold, try Vitamin C, delivered either the old fashioned way with a daily dose of orange or grapefruit juice, peaches, red peppers or other Vitamin C-rich food -- or with a vitamin supplement. Double up with Echinacea for an added boost.

See the Top 10 Food Sources of Vitamin C. Other natural cold-preventatives include the herb andrographis, zinc and elderberry extract.

To speed your success, twice a day form a clear mental picture for two minutes of the one thing you want; and tell yourself it's already yours. Imagine it is.

Keith, to see real basketball you need to come to Richmond to see VCU, and the rowdy rams of course.
