ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY

1913 - All partner interests in 36 Golden Rule Stores were consolidated and incorporated in Utah into one company. The new corporation was the J.C. Penney Company. JTYLTK

Speaking of Walmart....we tried to purchase groceries there Tues. at about 10 p.m. and they would not let us in! The store was closing so they could install new generators. Seems that Mayor Mickey could have given us a warning about that!

I did see that the store was going to be closed, but I didn't think anyone I new would be going down there that late.
