The cow 's name was 'pet' thus Pet Diary was founded.

Alexander Campbell later formed the Campbell's Soup Company.

joseph a campbell and abraham anderson started campbell's back in 1869. it was originally named the joseph a campbell preserve company. i have yet found anything to disprove the pet dairy statement that dad posted so you can believe that if you like!! scott you should have bought atlest two of those i make things up t-shirts seems like others might need one too!!!

john meyenberg formed the helvetia milk condensing company in 1885(helvetia is latin for switzerland,johns native land) pet was trade marked by helevtia in 1895 the origins of the name are unclear but pete products are the best selling products in the helvetia line

I just want to know who, besides me, remembers actually having milk delivered to our front porch in glass bottles? (Ours was Greenleaf.) Those were the days.
