NFL OPENS SEASON TONIGHT

The National Football League will kick off it's season tonight with the Tennessee Titans visiting the Pittsburgh Steelers. The two teams that I follow the Green Bay Packers will host the Chicago Bears on Sunday night while the Washington Redskins travel to New York to face the Giants Sunday afternoon. There is 1 game in our college football contest tonight, Clemson will be at Georgia Tech and I am hoping to get off to a better start than I did last week. The Nascar Nationwide and Sprint Cup Series will be in Richmond both Friday and Saturday nights respectively, fellow blogger Al will be there taking photos. I am getting ready to start my Christmas shopping so I may be e-mailing everybody find out what sizes you are wearing this year. Have a nice day, MICKEY

Eat as much fresh food as possible. Packaged food generally contain too much sodium, toxins, and other unhealthy things.

Use convenience foods wisely. Opt for frozen (unsauced) vegetables rather than canned—and when you can’t, seek out low- or reduced-sodium varieties. Rinse the foods in a colander before using to get rid of some of the salt. Cut back or eliminate additional salt in a recipe that calls for canned goods.

In the living
The answer to your problems is not in some quick solution. The answer is in the living of your life in a positive, meaningful way.

The joy you seek is not in some particular, momentary pleasure or acquisition. The joy is in the living of the precious moments of your life as they come.

The wisdom you desire is not in some sudden, brilliant insight or revelation. The wisdom is in the living and the learning, in the triumphs and disappointments, in the pain and the love.

The value of life is not in any single possession or experience or feeling. The value of life is in the living.

So do not grasp or worry or boast or envy or waste your time trying to second-guess life. Simply live this now moment with all the love and energy and gratitude and awareness you can give.

Life is in the living. And here on this very day is your golden opportunity to fully taste the rich abundance.
