9-11

It was 8 years ago today that the United Sates came under attack, WE MUST NEVER FORGET...I sure am glad that it is Friday. Last night in college football Georgia Tech held on to beat Clemson 30-27 and in the Steelers beat the Titans in OT 13-10. The Colonial Heights Colonials football team has this week off, down in Georgia tonight Crawford County will be home against Pike County and at the beach First Flight will be at home against Currituck. I have listed the other high school football scores of interest below. The will qualify later today for tomorrow nights Sprint Cup race in Richmond. I will be heading with Keith and Andrew tomorrow to see the Virginia Cavaliers face #16 TCU, I am hoping to bring the Cavaliers some good luck. Well I hope everybody has a good weekend. MICKEY

Up your Heart Rate. When you elevate your heart rate to at least 75-85 percent of your heart rate max during your cardio or intervals workout, you are intensifying your exercise by increasing your exertion. Sure, you may be working harder, but the great thing is that you can do it for a shorter period, so you can get it over with faster. To figure out your max heart rate, take 220 minus your age. That’s your max. Then you take 75 to 85 percent of the number and try to stay at that heart rate for your cardio!

Sleep. Sleep experts say about ten percent of us are "morning people", twenty percent are "night owls", and the rest are somewhere in between. Some tips to become a morning person include: accommodate to how much sleep you require, get sunlight exposure as soon as you wake up, and adopt a consistent sleep schedule.
