VIRGINIA GAME SUSPENDED

The Virginia and Georgia Tech baseball games was suspended in the bottom of the 4th inning last night with Virginia leading 3-2 because of sever weather in the area. They will resume the game this afternoon just before todays scheduled game. It looked like that we were going to get a little rough weather as well last night but all we got were a few rain showers, however there is a chance that we might pick up some t-storms later today. It also looks like it is going to rain on Tuesday as well and you guessed it thats the date of our next scheduled baseball game. I have to say that things are not looking to good for Tiger to win this years Masters Golf Tournament, Tiger is 7 shots off the lead but I wouldn't count him out just jet. I did go down to Wal-Mart this morning and yes I did get some donuts and yes they were very good, however all they had were glazed ones this morning but they were still very good. Well as soon as the grass dries this morning I am going to go out and cut the grass, this could cause my PAIN index to go up tomorrow. MICKEY

Aqua-erobics
Aquaerobics is a great workout if you have painful joints. It increases flexibility, improves circulation and tones the body.

TODAY IS
Eight-Track Tape Day (Bring it out and brag about it!)
Barbershop Quartet Day

Water-rich foods. Water-rich foods such as watermelon and cucumber can help you feel fuller on fewer calories. Watermelon, for example, has only 42 calories per serving. A healthy diet strategy suggests putting water-rich fruits and vegetables at the front end of the meal to help you eat less and feel more satisfied at meal's end.

To excel at a skill, you need to practice it. However, doing the same workout routine all the time can increase you risk of injury as well as lead to muscle imbalance, weakness and just plain boredom. It's important to vary your workout routines from day to day and season to season. Cross training, combining endurance and speed training, and adding weight training or yoga are all great ways to maintain a high level of fitness without overstressing certain muscle groups.
