CAPITALS CRUSH RANGERS, COLONIALS RAINED OUT

The Washington Capitals crushed the New York Rangers last night 4-0 at Madison Square Garden, the Caps looked like the team they were in the regular season dominating the Rangers. The Rangers still lead the series 2-1 and they will play game 4 tomorrow night. The CH baseball game at Petersburg yesterday was washed out and has been rescheduled for May 4, we are suppose to play Matoaca at home tonight but with all the rain we got last night I think tonights game is in jeopardy. The CH softball team and boys soccer team will be at home as well against Matoaca while the girls soccer team will be at Matoaca. The Thomas Dale baseball team will be at Hopewell tonight. The Virginia baseball team will be in Richmond tonight to face the VCU Rams, I wonder if Lee is going to go to tonights game. The weather yesterday afternoon and last night sure got a little bumpy, we got allot of rain and even some hail and there were several funnel clouds that were spotted in the area as well. My scanner is still in the shop so I couldn't hear all the police and fire traffic of what was going on during the storm, hopefully I will get it back soon. It looks like the weather will improve greatly by the end of the week with highs in the mis to upper 80's. MICKEY

In baseball, my theory is to strive for consistency, not to worry about the numbers. If you dwell on statistics you get shortsighted, if you aim for consistency, the numbers will be there at the end. Tom Seaver

Set the atmosphere
Get rid of all temptations. Make sure you rid the house of all foods, snacks and deserts that are considered "off limits". However, you can replace them with healthy snacks so you won't give in when the "urge" hits.

Canned juices are usually an enriched product since the heat used in the processing destroys most of the vitamins.
