RANGERS IN TROUBLE, KESELOWSKI WINS A WILD ONE

The New York Rangers were hammered by the Washington Capitals yesterday 5-3 and believe me the game was not as close as the final score indicated. The Caps dominated the Rangers in every aspect of the game, they will play game 7 off the series tomorrow night with the winner advancing to the 2nd round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Brad Keselowski picked up his 1st career win yesterday at Talladega winning a wild finish when we he and Carl Edwards came together causing Edwards car to become air born hit the catch fence and flip, Dale Jr. came home 2nd. Next week they will at the Richmond International Raceway. The Virginia baseball team lost to N.C. State yesterday 7-6. The Thomas Dale baseball team will be back in action today against Petersburg. Andrew's Little League team didn't get a hit last night and lost there game 10-0, dad said the pitcher for the other team was the best pitcher that he has seen in the league all year. My PAIN index is a bit higher than this morning because I cut the grass an I inhaled a bunch of pollen doing so. It looks like the weather here in CH will continue to be warm for the next 2 days with highs in the 90's before dropping back into 70's by Wednesday. MICKEY

Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.  Michael Jordan

Being active is the enemy of unwanted weight. If you are not active and not doing anything you may just reach out for food to kill boredom. Want to get fit faster? Then keep moving and be active. Just walking up the stairs when you have the chance instead of taking the escalator can make a difference. By constantly moving you are burning fat and keeping your metabolism revved.

Get at least six hours of shut-eye. Instead of skimping on sleep to add more hours to your day, get more to add years to your life. "Sleep is one of the most important functions that our body uses to regulate and heal cells," says Ferrucci. "We've calculated that the minimum amount of sleep that older people need to get those healing REM phases is about six hours." Those who reach the century mark make sleep a top priority.
