COLONIALS BACK IN ACTION TODAY, VIRGINIA POUNDS MARYLAND

The Colonial Heights Colonials baseball team will be back in action this afternoon weather permitting against the J.R. Tucker Tigers in the Manchester Spring Break Tournament. Thomas Dale will face Clover Hill in the same tournament this morning. The Virginia Cavaliers bounced back in a big way yesterday pounding Maryland 17-2, next weekend in ACC play the Cavs have big series at Georgia Tech. The Major League Baseball season also opened up yesterday with the Braves knocking off the Phillies 4-2, my team the Cincinnati Reds open there season up today with the Mets. Jeff Gordon ended his 47 race winless streak yesterday winning at the Texas Motor Speedway, it was his 1st career win at the track leaving Homestead as th only track that he hasn't won at, Jimmie Johnson came in 2nd. The college basketball season will com to an end tonight with the National Championship game between Michigan State and North Carolina, I think think I will be rooting for the Spartans in this one. My PAIN index has gone down a bit this morning, my knee doesn't appear to be hurting as bad. MICKEY

If you command wisely, you'll be obeyed cheerfully.

Body Mass Index. BMI is a simple measure of a person's fitness or weight condition. BMI was invented in the 19th century by Adolphe Quetelet. It is defined as an individual's body weight divided by the square of their height. A BMI of 18 to 25 is considered optimal. A BMI under 18 equates to being underweight while over 25 indicates being overweight.

Don't be shy. If your doctor uses a word or medical term you don't understand, ask for an explanation. Don't let the point get passed you. Politely stop your doctor and ask for clarification. Repeat it back to the doctor in your words to be sure you understand. If you let it go, you likely won't come back to it. Ask at the very moment you don't understand.
