COLONIALS FALL 6-5, TREADMILL UP AND RUNNING, HAPPY APRIL FOOLS DAY

The Colonial Heights baseball team lost another tough one yesterday 6-5 to the Hopewell Blue Devils, the Colonials had several chances in the game to push some more across the plate but didn't. It doesn't get any easier for the Colonials tonight when we travel down to Dinwiddie to face the Generals and tomorrow when we are on the road at Thomas Dale as well. The CH softball team beat Hopewell 7-0, the girls soccer team won 3-0 while the boys soccer team lost 2-0. The Thomas Dale Knights also lost a tough one last night at Dinwiddie falling 8-7 in the bottom of the 7th. The Virginia baseball team beat Radford 12-2 yesterday and will face Norfolk State today. Well a big THANKS goes out to AL and his assistant DAD for getting my new treadmill up and running yesterday, I ran on it yesterday afternoon and it was running smoothly. Well today is April Fools Day so don't let anybody fool you with some type of prank. It is suppose to rain again today and an Friday as well so tonights and tomorrows baseball games could be in jeopardy. I have not seen anything like the weather we are having, we can never practice because the field is always to wet and just about every time we have a game scheduled there is a threat of rain. MICKEY

as usual the problem with assembling anything at any goulders home other than my own is finding the right BASIC tools! i was rolling right along when i needed a phillips hewd screw drive. they have about 100 regular screw drivers and ONE phillips headdriver and that on did not fit the application. thats wherre the assistant came in and brought me a cordless drver that did have the correct phillips head driver that was use to complete the build!!
