A VERY WARM THURSDAY

It is going to be a very warm 72 degrees today here in CH and in the mid 60's friday, it's to bad baseball practice didn't start today. It looks like it is going to be in the low to mid 40's the first couple of days of practice and there is a chance od precip a couple of those days. The CH girls basketball team had rough night last night falling to Prince George 38-33 in a very sloppy game played by both teams and neither team had good night shooting either. Prince George just did enough to get the victory. The Colonials will play in the regionals next week against a yet to be named opponent. The Richmond Riverdogs opened up the flood gates on scoring last night pounding Roanoke 8-1 at the RCC, the Dogs have to play Muskegon and Kalamazoo this weekend, two very good teams. The two Daytona 500 qualifying races are today at noon to set the rest of the field for the 500, the races can be seen on TNT. MICKEY

In reference to Al and keith Football blog comments of several days ago. Mark pulling his team off the field after the ugly heine- ball incident probably cost him selection into the wiffle ball hall of fame. The ole cAT FISH bOBBY IS THE only living member of the big game wiffle ball hall of fame.He was selected by the veterans committee of former participants 65 years of age or older.. A well deserved selection if I do say so myseif. If I recall the right field foul pole caused some controversy leading to the ugly heine- ball incident.
