VIRGINIA LOSES 17-14, JMU UPSETS VIRGINIA TECH 21-16

The Virginia Cavaliers football team lost last night 17-14 to USC in Los Angeles. The Cavs had there chances early in this game to put some points on the board but missed a field and an interception as well. The Virginia defense played pretty well all night and it was pretty sloppy game played by both teams and there were plenty of penalties to go around as well. I have to say the Cavs played better than most people thought they would, the Cavs just need a few more play makers on offense. The JMU Dukes pulled a major upset yesterday in Blacksburg knocking off Virginia Tech 21-16, the Tech offense just had to many turnovers to win the game. Next week the play a very good East Carolina team which will cause them some major problems defensively, the problem for ECU is there defense is very good either. Today in the NFL the Packers will travel to Philadelphia and the Redskins will be at home against there arch rival Dallas Cowboys tonight, I am sure I wont see the end of this game tonight because I am going to have to go to bed early after staying up so late last night. Denny Hamlin won last nights race at RIR and with the win will be the #1 seed in the chase which begins next week. The Cincinnati Reds lead is back up to 7 games in the NL Central after last nights win. My ear hasn't got any better if anything it has gotten worst. I will have the updated standing in our football contest a little later this morning, I think I may have dropped out of first place after yesterdays games. MICKEY
