COLONIALS BACK IN ACTION TONIGHT

After having a week off the Colonial Heights Colonials football team return to action tonight at home at 7:30pm against Park View-South Hill. The Colonials enter the game at 1-0 while Park View is 0-1. Down in Georgia tonight Crawford County has its first home game of the season against Pike County and at the beach First Flight is off while Manteo will be at home against Atlantic Shores. The first race in the chase for the Sprint Cup is this weekend at New Hampshire, I think if I was a betting man I would put my money on Jimmie Johnson again. My ear feels like it is still getting better but I would say its only at about 60% right now but thats allot better than it was three days ago thats for sure. I want to thank everybody for the birthday wishes and I to say I don't feel a day over 44. MICKEY

You want to eat what everyone else is eating
Just because your friend can down a burger and fries for lunch and stay thin doesn't mean you can. Fair or not, some people are simply born with a faster metabolism than others, says John M. O'Brien, M.D., associate professor of family medicine at the University of Michigan Health System. Genetics and certain medical conditions affect metabolism, as well as the amount of exercise you do. Learn what keeps you at a healthy weight and stick to that. Enjoy the food and the company, and you may find your portion is actually enough.

Success is going from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm. Winston Churchill
