HURRICANE WARNING ISSUED FOR THE OBX

A Hurricane Warning has been issued for the OBX as Hurricane Earl passes of the coast of North Carolina. This morning the storm has maximum sustained winds at 145 MPH and is suppose to bring Hurricane force winds to the OBX tonight along with lots of beach erosion where several roads will be impassible. Hopefully the storm will stay on the tack the Hurricane Center thinks it is on and not move to the west which would cause much more damage to the OBX. Well the Mickey's Place college football contest gets underway tonight with several games being played and allot of the will be on TV as well, I will be heading up to see the Virginia game against Richmond on Saturday. Also tomorrow night the Colonials will open up there season at home against Thomas Jefferson. I have heard people talk about having weird dreams well I had one last night. I was with Scott, Scottie and Dusty and we were walking through field which had allot of cactus's in it and we where taking Scottie somewhere and for some reason I didn't have any shoes on and everybody else did. All I know is after stepped on a couple of the cactus's we quickly turned around and thats when I woke up, maybe Scott knows where we were going. MICKEY

Nature walks. Not only does research show that being outdoors lowers blood pressure and can zap your stress levels, but it just feels so dang good. The rhythms of the natural world are slower, and being around them taps us into the big picture of life.

Take care of the minutes and the hours will take care of themselves. -Lord Chesterfield
