VIRGINIA WINS AGAIN, SCOTT'S IN TOWN

The Virginia Cavalier baseball team is now 16-0 after beating Marshall yesterday 5-4, the Cavs had rally to win this game they were down 4-1 entering the bottom of the 7th inning. The Cavs will go for win #17 today when they face Canisus. Fellow blogger Scott and his family are here in town for a few days, Scott's grandmother passed away yesterday morning at Colonial Heights Living Center. They will be staying at Al & Donna's house while they are here. Me Ma Evelyn's condition is about the same, she has a couple of therapists that are working with her. On a baseball scheduling note the Varina baseball game that was originally scheduled for March 13 will now be played on Friday April 24 instead of next Friday. My arm is a little sore this morning because I threw BP yesterday for the 1st time in about 6 days, my arm was a bit out sync, I need to throw about 5 times a week to keep it in good shape. It looks like the weather here in CH will be very nice today with a high around 70, however there is another chance of rain tomorrow which is not very good for Fridays baseball game. MICKEY

USA WINS

The greatest results in life are usually attained by simple means and the exercise of ordinary qualities. These may for the most part be summed in these two: common-sense and perseverance. -Owen Feltham

Osteoporosis. Osteoporosis is a health threat for more than 28 million Americans. More common in women, the disease is a condition where bones deteriorate, become fragile and more likely to break. Women are higher risk because they lose up to two percent of bone mass per year after age 35. Keep bones healthy: walk three times a week, increase vitamin D and take calcium supplements.

Use Salt For Grease Spills
If grease or oil spills in your oven, quickly toss some salt on the stain. Once the oven has cooled off and the salt has dried, brush it out of your oven. Most of the stain should be gone.

Americans use over 16,000 tons of aspirin a year.

Abundance has no limit
As grand as any achievement may be, it is not the ultimate. Because it opens up new possibilities for even greater achievement.
That's why it makes no sense to be envious or resentful of the accomplishments of others. Those accomplishments each increase the number of opportunities available to you.

Rejoice at the success of others and you instill the power of that success within yourself. Be thankful for positive progress and you will become part of that progress.

The most successful people are those who encourage and enable others to succeed. Truly appreciate real value and you'll find new ways to create more value.

Abundance has no limit. A life that is richly lived creates much richness in the lives of those all around.

Every achievement you see, see as a beginning. Appreciate the richness that is, and you'll be creating even more.
