HOW ABOUT THOSE GREEN BAY PACKERS

The Green Bay Packers improved to 5-1 with a 17-14 win over the Washington Redskins yesterday in a game that the Skins pretty much gave to the Packers with all there turnovers. The Packers may be the worst offensive team at 5-1 but there defense has played well all year to get them there, the Packers is off next week. The Colorado Rockies are 1 win away from sweeping the Arizona Diamondbacks after last nights 4-1 victory, the Rockies have now won 20 of there last 21 games which is quite impressive, they can finish Arizona off tonight. The Red Sox & Indians will also resume there AL series tonight as well. The Richmond Renegades open up training camp today at the Richmond Coliseum and will play to preseason games this weekend against Fayetteville, the Gades will be at home Saturday night. Fellow blogger Keith is leaving for Detroit today for a two week stay, he has allot of government work to do there. Fellow bloggers Al & Donna went to West Virginia to take Jacob back home yesterday. I have posted a link below to the photos Al took at Friday nights homecoming football game. MICKEY

A word of encouragement during a failure is worth more than an hour of praise after success.

Annoying behavior
There are plenty of alternatives to being annoyed. If someone else is doing something that has the potential to annoy you, you actually have a choice. You can choose to be annoyed, but why would you choose that? Or, you can choose to do something else, something more positive and productive.

The behavior of others is largely their problem, not yours. Yet when you choose to let it annoy you, it does become your problem by stealing your time and attention. Instead, look past them. Put the annoying behavior of others out of your mind and get busy on something positive and worthwhile. You have the choice, so use it!

The energy you spend on being annoyed can be put to much better use in other, more productive pursuits. And it's not even pleasant to be annoyed, so why let yourself be?

Refuse to give an annoying person power over your time, your thoughts and your energy. Choose to ignore them. You have much better things to do.
