A VERY COLD MORNING HERE IN COLONIAL HEIGHTS

It is very cold morning here in CH with actual temperature at 21 and the wind chill around 10. It doesn't look like it is going to make 40 today and it will be very cold tonight at the RC waiting for dad to bring up the tickets at the hockey game. Speaking of the hockey game the Renegades will try to make it six straight victories tonight when they face off against the Florida Seals, Keith and Andrew will also making an appearance at the game tonight. The CH girls basketball team lost to Petersburg last night 51-40, the Colonial boys team will play Petersburg tonight at home. I do have bit of good news my right shoulder isn't hurting anymore but my right foot has started to hurt again and with the weather being as cold as it is going to be today my aches and pain index will probably go up and something else will be hurting by morning. A few people have requested my post a photo of Mr. Body so I have posted one of Mr. Body with fellow blogger Scott. Remember it's going be cold today so stay warm. MICKEY

10 Minutes Before "Seconds."
Feeling like getting a second helping of food? Hold back for 10 minutes before you make your move. It takes at least that long for your brain to get the message that your stomach is full. Many of us can eat a double portion, or one very large portion, in less than 10 minutes -- so you may be full and not even realize it. Before you act on the urge to refill your plate, sit down, drink a glass of water, and then ask yourself if you really need more food. Remember: Eat so that you're not hungry, not necessarily until you feel "stuffed."

1863, President Abraham Lincoln announced his plan for the Reconstruction of the South.
1941, the United States entered World War II as Congress declared war against Japan one day after the attack on Pearl Harbor.
1980, Rock musician John Lennon of the Beatles was shot to death outside his New York City apartment building by a deranged fan, Mark David Chapman. Lennon was 40.
