COLONIALS WIN TWO ON THE MATS

I figured I would continue my support of Colonials athletics last night and went up to the gym an watched the Colonial wrestling team. The wrestling Colonials picked up two victories last night beating both Dinwiddie and Petersburg. The wrestling team has a few of our baseball players on it so I figured I would go watch a match or two this year, they actually had a pretty good crowd and the team looked pretty good. I also understand that Scottie and Dusty are wrestling for the Crawford County Eagles this year. Tonight the CH girls basketball team will be on the road at Petersburg, this will be the first game in the central district for both teams. All you fellow blogger here in CH better enjoy todays mild weather because it going to turn cold and windy tonight and Friday, it is going to be in the mid 50's today but Friday in the low 40's with winds blowing about 20 mph it is going to feel like it is in the upper 20's BRRR. It looks like NC State has a new football coach hiring Tom O'Brien away from Boston College, O'Brien is a former UVA offensive coordinator. The Renegades will be back at home this weekend both Friday and Saturday nights, on Friday the Gades will play the Florida Seals and on Saturday night they will play the Fayetteville FireAntz. Take a veg pledge
Put just a few more veggies on your plate, and you can reduce your disease risk. People who live in regions where vegetable consumption is greatest live the longest. How can you eat more veggies? Toss a bag of baby carrots into your bag or briefcase, and nibble on them throughout the day. Add frozen vegetables to canned soup. Add crunch and brilliant green color to salads with snow peas and sugar snap peas -- first cook them briefly, then refresh them under cold running water.

I am getting old because I remember when Videotaped instant replay started. They use to tell everyone it was a tape so we wouldn't think it was the game. Now we expect it
