FIRST IT WAS FOOTBALL AND NOW BASKETBALL

Well first it was football and now it's basketball, the Virginia Cavaliers continue to lose to teams that they have no business losing to. In the San Juan Shootout UVA fell to Appalachian St. 80-69 and the score should have been much worst, the Cavs were really bever in this game, the Mountaineers lead the entire game. The Cavs are now 6-2 and with both there losses coming away from Charlottesville, it seams like a familiar theme developing with basketball team they can't win away from home. They will have to rebound from a bad loss this afternoon when they play Utah. The Colonial Heights Holiday Invitational starts tonight, the host team the Colonials will play West End Christian at 7:45pm in boys basketball action. In NCAA football action last night in the Poinsettia Bowl TCU beat Northern Illinois 37-7. It is a bit cool here in CH this morning after temps in the upper 70's Monday this morning it is a cool 28. I have posted a photo of Mickey's Place most wanted and it's a photo blogger Gary who has been missing in action for over a month. MICKEY

Lose 15 lbs. this year
One important change in your lunchtime routine can make all the difference. In one study, women who ate at least five restaurant/takeout meals a week took in almost 300 more calories a day than women who ate out less often, with a larger proportion of calories from fat. Over a year's time, those calories can add up to an extra 15 - 20 pounds. Try bringing lunch from home -- not only will it help you lose weight, but it'll fatten your wallet by cutting down on expenses!
