AN OLD SANTA PHOTO

We were going threw some old photos the other day and found this old Christmas photo of dad sitting on Santa Clauses lap. I don't were the photo was taken but that might be the ugliest Santa Claus I have ever seen. The CH boys basketball team fell to Atlee last night 76-57, the Colonials did jump out an early lead before all there shooters went cold. I still haven't heart anything else from my DR., trying to get information out of the CH Medical Center is like trying to get into Fort Knox. My foot is still very sore and still a bit swollen, my ankle is now trying to swell up as well now because the way I am walking. The Renegades have re-signed Matt Goody which should give the Gades a true heavyweight to go along with Sicard in the toughness department. The Gades will be on the road for the next three games starting on Thursday night. Did any of you fellow bloggers go to the CH Christmas parade last night, it was just to cold stand out side for this fellow blogger not to mention my foot was hurting. MICKEY

Time has a wonderful way of showing us what really matters.

Health Tip: Accounting for Weight Gain
It's no secret that the more fat and calories you consume, the more weight you're likely to gain.

But sometimes the triggers for weight gain are less obvious. The U.S. National Library of Medicine offers these examples:

* Alcohol consumption.
* Lack of exercise.
* Slowing metabolism, which often happens with age.
* Foods high in carbohydrates.
* Physical conditions, such as Cushing syndrome or polycystic ovary syndrome.
* Certain medications, such as corticosteroids, antidepressants and tranquilizers.
* Emotional issues such as stress, anxiety, depression or grief.
* Quitting smoking.

Growing past disappointment
Each disappointment in your life will continue to weigh you down only until you learn and accept what that it has to teach you. The moment a disappointment becomes a learning and growing experience is the moment in which it is transformed into a triumph. The chance to learn from your shortcomings and grow out of your disappointments is one of the richest opportunities you can ever experience. Adversity is a thorough, effective and highly personalized teacher. The powerful lessons learned in the midst of disappointment will stay with you always. When you can bring yourself to be grateful for your problems you'll begin to harvest their positive value. Life is difficult; out of that difficulty grows meaning and beauty. In each disappointment is the seed of fulfillment. Learn what it has to teach and you'll be moving yourself forward.

I don't see his face. I do think it's the worse picture of Santa I have ever seen. No wonder Dad was afraid of santa. Maybe the cotton under the tree is missing.
