our day at old dominion speedway

we went to see jason sponsler run his 3rd race ever yesterday at old dominion speedway. we got there at 4:30 and jason and crew were thrashing on the car trying to get it ready for the 7:00 start they got it finished with about 2 mintues to spare!! i'm sure they got it done in time because of the help that the drivers mother contributed to the team as documented in the thrashing picture!!! i happy to report that there are no new broken finger nails!!!

You'd think after being together for almost 3 years, Al would know my best side for photographing. THAT is definitely NOT it! We did enjoy being with Jason for the day!

Donna, what are doing with the tire?

Looking might like the 1988 GM Goodwrench Chevrolet. If the 38 was the Quaker State 26 I would have swore it was from N Wilkesboro.

Glad you noticed, George. Next to you, my son is the greatest Earnhardt fan there is. He was quite proud of that paint job!

Is that something I need to look into, Gary? I want to be a good Racin' Mom!!!! Mickey, with less than 4 minutes to go, I was doing everything I could to get that tire on the car. I drew the line at tightening the lug nuts, though. Left that to the real pit crew!
