ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY:

1718 - English pirate Edward Teach (a.k.a. "Blackbeard") was killed during a battle off the coast of North Carolina. British soldiers cornered him aboard his ship and killed him. He was shot and stabbed more than 25 times. JUST THOUGHT YOU'D LIKE TO KNOW. since the coast of north carolina came up in this post i thought it would be a good time to let bobby know that his expert skills as the lucky dog chef will be in high demand this coming july 8-15,as the woodfin clan will be moving in next door at the beach.

Kennedy was shot. I remember it all too well! Kinda sad how it isn't even mentioned anymore! To this day, I can't stand to listen to bagpipe music. It reminds me of that whole weekend of nothing but sadness on TV.

Yes, Al! We've had this discussion! Thanks, Gary! It's nice to know that at least one of Al's friends can remember things that happened in the 60's! :)
