ECU WINS AND DOGS WIN A WILD ONE

The ECU Pirates ended the 2005 football season on a winning note yesterday beating the UAB Blazers 31-23 and ending the season on a two game winning streak. This years ECU team was much better than the teams of the last two years and it looks like Skip Holtz may have started to the program back around. The UVA Cavs lost a tough one to Miami 25-17 in Miami, that score was much closer than I thought it would be after the dismal performance Va Tech. The Ga Bulldogs held on last night to defeat Ga tech 14-7 in Atlanta, things got a little test with less than two minutes left when the Yellow Jackets got the ball inside Ga 20 but then threw an int to end the game. The Richmond Spiders won there first round playoff game in the I-AA playoffs beating Hampton last night 38-10, the Spiders now will play Furman at home next saturday. The Richmond Riverdogs got back on track last night knocking off the Roanoke Valley Vipers 5-4 in the 13 round of the shootout, towords the end of the game tempers flaired and that what these photos from. The photos were taken by the Dogs team photographer. It seems like every time I miss a game things get a little interesting. The Redskins have tough game today as San Diego comes to play the Skins, GB is at Philadelphia in game they might have a shot in, and Pittsburgh will be at Indy on monday night football. I still haven't quite finished all my christmas shopping but I am getting closer. MICKEY

I never lost a game. I just ran our of time.
