Football Roundup, Todays Action

Well the CH Colonials lost a hard fought game last night to the Meadowbrook Monarchs 19-6 at Meadowbrook. The Colonials moved the ball pretty well between the 20's but were unable to get in the endzone but once, Meadowbrook defense stepped up when the Colonials got in the red zone. The Colonials will travel to Matoaca next week in the first round of the playoffs. The rest of the CD scores were Matoaca 14 Petersburg 7, TD 33 Hopewell 14, Prince George 34 Dinwiddie 13. In playoff action in NC Camden 53 Cape Hatteras 9 and Manteo 48 Plymouth 12. Today in colllege football UVA-3.5 host Ga Tech, Fla St-1.5 at Clemson, Maryland at UNC-3, Miami-17 at Wake Forest and NC Sate at BC-3. In the SEC Joy and Scott are going to see the Auburn and Georgia game tonight the Bulldogs are favored by 2.5 points, the old ball coach is playing his old team today, Fla is favored by 4 over South Carolina, and in a big one today LSU-3 at BAMA. The Riverdogs picked up there secon win in a row last night defeating Elmira 7-4, they will play again in Elmira tonight before returning home sunday. The Nextel Cup Series is in Phoenix for the next to last race of the season, they will qualify this afternoon. Nobody won the lottery last night so tuesdays drawing will be worth $310 million, so if you usually don't play you might want to play this week. Last but not least Wal-Mart only had glaze donuts this morning, I just don't understand why they can't get the donuts ready before 7am. MICKEY
