The cover was that of a June wedding. The reason many brides got married in june in olden days was that the bride and everyone else for that matter, took a bath once a year usually springtime { May}. So weddings were scheduled so the bride would smell good. However , by June , the bride started to have an unpleasant aura, that why brides carry a bouquet to improve their aroma.Just thought Al would like to know. Believe it or not.

scott don't get me going on daguerra type photographs!!!! being that a daguerra(idon't think the spellings right) type photo might take up to 2 minutes or more to expose i doubt that the june cover had a wedding photo on the cover because everyone would have to stay perfectly still for 2 minutes or more!! if you would like to know more on these type of photographs i will provide that history lesson upon request!

Just for the record, I take DAILY showers. Therefore, a July wedding gives me even more opportunities to "clean up" before the big day! Just thought you'd like to know!

FYI -The order of the once a year bath process was men first ,then women , then children, then babies. Everyone used the same bath water. And thus the saying originated ,"don't throw out the baby with the bath water'.Believe it or not

Actually, June/July/August weddings have to do with the brides being teachers. That's all I have to say about that!
